The Murano The first Murano Glass® concept store

‘The M’ is an innovative project launched by two young Italians, who wanted to create a new concept and brand experience of a Murano glass shop.

Their idea was to reinterpret the traditional shops of the Murano island by creating a more modern and lifestyle-oriented glass concept store.

Besides introducing a store concept that hasn’t been seen before, the choice of products in the shop is also quite atypical. It contains not only traditional vases and glasses but also more fashionable and youthful objects such as earrings, espadrillas, bags and clothes, which are all embellished with the precious glass beads.

The visual identity that Nuvole designed for ‘The M’ reflects and complements the same approach: the color palette is inspired by the Venetian shades with a modern twist whereas the graphics are inspired by the famous Venetian terrace.

The conceptual branding came to life in the creation of packaging and communication tools for the store (shopping bags, tissue paper, price holders, flyers, etc.). The interior design was shaped to perfectly match the communication style, and is designed by the Architect Pasquale Mariani.

Results: ‘The M’ opened in July 2019 and even though it’s so young and such a small gem, it’s already become a favorite (and very ‘insta-friendly’) spot among aesthetics lovers. It’s one of the most visited stores in Murano thanks to its unique concept and offerings.
